OT - Today is definately Scarf Weather

Wow! The wind is ferocious, almost knocking me down this morning here in NJ. The ground is coated with ice, but life still goes on. Had to take DD to a girl scout activity. It was kind of nice watching her look in her closet to see which scarf she was going to wear. Of course, they were all the ones that I made. Gave me a kind of flutter in the center of my chest.

Boys down to a game off of Woodhaven Road, by Franklin Mills. Donna in Philly will know where that is. Next time I will go and shop while they play. Hear there are lots of bargains down there.

Stay warn everyone,

Diane

PS Nora, did you get the snow and ice?

Hi Diane,

We sure did, about five to six inches of snow on top of ice. It dropped over 25 degrees in about two hours yesterday. Went from a high of 56 to

  1. The wind is still blowing strong here right now and it looks like it's snowing again or maybe it's just blowing off the roof. I wore, hat, two pairs of mittens and a scarf when we went out to snowblow and shovel earlier.

That's nice that your DD appreciates all the lovely scarves you have made her.

Hugs,

Nora
