Sunday Still morning

Still morning, but only for another 2 hours here......weather has cooled off because the h eater just came on. We have enjoyed temps in the low 70sF for the last couple of weeks. Supposed to get some rain but the clouds from last night are all gone and I see a great expanse of blue sky. It has been 90 days since we had rain and we will set a record soon (101 days) if we don't get any. Started working on a sweater for my self, finished the back and got the ribbing finished on on front. Will have to drive up to the mountains to wear it though because it's been too warm here. Got my cars back from the shop. Between the 2 of them I've had 12 breakdowns since summer - big things too- timing chains, carburators, including two dead batteries. Both batteries were only a year to a year and a half old. Luckily they were lifetime warranties. Used up all of my roadside service for the year in just 2 months.....sigh...... Took DS2 back to the doctors because his back wasn't healing after his injury and they found a ruptured dic......I sure hope this year starts to improve.... Cats are fine though and eating up a storm. Happy Birthday/Aniiversary for anyone I've missed. Welcome to the newbies. Send any extra rain my way LOL. Marie and the cats

Trying to blow the clouds your way. I think this is day 28 - but who is counting. Actually we had a short break yesterday where I saw actual blue sky and sunshine. It didn't last long though. This is the reverse of last year when all of the rain went to the south of us and we had sunshine (and a subsequent drought). There is lots of snow in the mountains, though, and the ski resorts are making up for a disasterous year last year.

I am dressed and ready to head out for church. Should be a quiet day around here.

Hi Marie,

Instead of rain would you settle for snow? If I could figure out a way, I'd send you some, although I shouldn't complain we are about ten inches below normal for this time of year and the temperatures are way above normal. They are saying it should get to 50 by Wed.

Glad the cars are back running and praying your son improves.

Hugs,

Nora
