Sunday Morning

Good morning, happy Sunday to you all!

It's a lovely sunny day here in Cambridge, I think I might do some knitting in the garden later, or maybe we'll go to the park.

I hope you all have good days.

Good morning, Kirsten (and everyone else). It is sunny right now, but it is supposed to cloud over a bit later and rain. That's OK, because the rain will help take the snow away, which is a good thing.

I should have some time to knit later, as I have finished my marking for the week-end, and we are having left-overs to eat. I really should clean house, but that is so boring.

Hope you have a great day too!

I've already put some washing on the line to dry, and another load in the machine so that's already a good start. :o)

I'm going for a walk later, and to pick up a rug which I have been given from someone on a local freecycle list.

Is that the "I Do" shrug from knitty.com?

Good morning, all of you( or.... it's 13.45 here!) DEAM weather! After more than one week with water enough for a year, we have had two INCREDIBLE days! Tomorrow is THE day, I am going to hospital. Or to put it straight: WALKING to hospital. 10-15 min. walk. Surgery the next day, and then, hopefully, home again. If the following days will be as beautiful as this day; I will gain strength very rapidly! We have experienced, however, that we cannot take anything for granted, weathervice here! LOL! Today is the day for preparation, doing small things I think will be too heavy for a while, after surgery.

But also time for enjoying the sun! Hugs, Aud ;-))

I hope all will go well dear Aud. May I ask what the surgery is for?

Ophelia, May be you remember I was in the hopital with aninflamated gall bladder, the first days of February. Now, the inflamation is healed, I am going "remove" the gall bladder, and to get rid of a stone, which is hooked in the end of the "pipe" from the gall bladder. It is normally an easy operation (for the patient, I don't knowwhat it is for the doctor! LOL!) And I think they send me home the day after the surgery. AUD ;-))

Thank you for letting me know. I believe it is not so major these days. When I had mine out I was left with a huge scar running right up my belly:( Good luck and I will be thinking of you. Please be gentle with yourself afterwards. I still think it is major surgery and you need to recouperate properly

Good Sunday morning. It's overcast here, but supposed to go up to 21C today. I hope the sun comes out - I've got clothes on the line. I'm still working on the double-knit mitts. I'm up and about to separate the thumb now.

Good Sunday morning everyone.

It's a lovely Sunday morning. I pulled a muscle in my back Friday, and so haven't done any heavy work in the yard this weekend. I might do a small corner today though. I see the bleeding hearts are starting to peek through, and my bulbs are up. I don't have any spring flowers, and should really get some. They are so lovely and cheery.

No knitting this week. I've been practising my wire work and am making a bracelet which I will finish today. One of the nice thing about jewelry making is instant gratification. I haven't gone so far as to knit wire yet, but I think I will try it one of these days.

I hope Aud has a speedy recovery and everything heals the way it should. Dora

Hi, Kirsten! I haven't 'blogged' since the 12th, so won't make reference till I get there, where I 'usually' raise my mug of coffee (or tea) and

*wave* to RCTY friends.family! Anyway, it's been a VERY busy week in the Jameson household, and in my Knit*che/studio.... I'm designing a LOT of new things, AND trying to update all my various sites. In the meantime, I also acquired my own domain, too, so I've got transferrring to do! Have a great Sunday and week! Hugs, Noreen

Good Morning everyone

it's overcast here as well as I'm not really that far from Norma.

I'm hoping that the sun will come out for a while today as we are heading out to a sale and I want to enjoy the drive to the other side of the city.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Aud, may you have a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. I'll be thinking about you. And thinking that your students have learned something about gall bladders this year.

It was rainy here most of yesterday and this morning started out with a heavy fog. But now the sun is out for the rest of the day (I hope) with a predicted high of about 70 F. It should be good day for my afternoon adventure. I am going to a Knitting Meetup for the first time. It is being held in a lakeside pavilion in one of St. Paul's parks.

Here's wishing you the best of good health, Aud. I hope the surgery and recovery are smooth as silk.

Good afternoon everyone,

First, Aud, I'll be sending prayers over to you and hope to hear you are back home and doing great by this time next week.

It's been a lovely day here, not a cloud in the sky and I shouldn't say it, but we do need rain, there are brush fire warnings out as it's tinder dry.

Hugs,

Nora

It's done by laparoscopy now and there is hardly any scar. But you still have to take care of yourself. Take care, Aud.

I didn't get to RCTY at all yesterday, so here I am on Monday morning. I don't know if you will see this message before you leave, Aud, but I wish you a quick and easy surgery and recovery. Please take care of yourself.

It's not. Actually, I'd just started my shrug when I read the new issue of knitty. It's 'Shimmer' from the winter one :) I do rather like 'I do' but I think it's too fancy for my dress, which has beading and embroidery. I haven't quite decided whether to do the lozenge lace on the back of Shimmer, or whether to just do it plain, but I'll probably do it as written.

I did think it was amusing, that I was just starting on a shrug to go with my wedding dress and looking at a pattern designed for weddings, though :)

(the wedding shruug is for me, the baby clothes for my matron-of-honour)

Kirsten,

Are you getting married soon? Congrats! Do I recall correctly that you're in the Boston area? Where abouts are you getting married?

Oooh, I just checked out Shimmer, that one is pretty too!
