Good Morning Mirjam, The weather is bright and sunny here in Florida. It's getting very warm already too. I hope to get some crocheting done on an afghan I started over 2 years ago:) I'm almost done though, thank goodness!! And if I'm lucky I will talk my DH into going to an Art in the park exhibit. Have a Wonderful day!!

Hi Everyone,

It's late afternoon and cool here in upstate NY. I'm like Joan, as we have had about three or more inches of rain since yesterday morning. Friday when we went by the Mohawk River in places it was so low you could walk from shore to shore, but today it's crested at the highest point so we've had a lot of rain.

Going to take a nap in my chair now then crochet on afghan no. 24 later.

Hugs,

Nora

We have also had tons of rain this weekend, Forcing me to crochet, gosh, what a shame!!!! LOL

I have started a basketweave afghan for my son to take to college with him next year. I figure since he is over 6 feet tall, it should be ready by then. Haha. It is dark blue and not really interesting to crochet, but it is what he picked so I will do it.

We have also been filling in college forms for school and reading on how to finance and trying to narrow down the choices. What an undertaking. Anyone who has done this will know what I am going through. Now, DH has offered to take us to Red Lobster for the shrimp fest so I am definately ready to go eat!

Great grandmother is now stabilized, she has been through some bad spells these past few weeks, where we thought we were going to lose her. She is 95 but still strong, funny, and determined.

I am looking out the window at the lilacs popping on our bushes. Spring really is here, the sun just come out to end the weekend.

Hugs to all, Diane
