Re: GOOD Sunday morning april 23rd

Good morning all, Here it's overcast and rainy, for which we are very thankful, we're rather short of water round here, not Africa style drought (how awful must that be) but still the reservoirs are at less that half what they should be at this time of the year. It's not too cold though. We've got MIL coming for lunch from her care home, so we'll be quite busy seeing to her. I'll get some work done on my cross stitch sampler for my Dad's 80th birthday: a garden with the alphabet which I plan to adapt to give his details, also on the blanket I'm making for the charity which provides blankets and burial gowns for still born babies. I've got a few to send off soon, so when I've finished this one I've got to find a box to send them in. Hope you all have a good day Love & higs Christine

Hey O, great wishing, it's absolutely TIPPING downright now. Maybe I should be careful what I wish for; we may have to move Noah in!! Don't think that'll be necessary quite yet, but.... Love & higs C

Well at least you can't complain it didn't work:) I wonder if we can hire ourselves out as rainmakers:)

Sounds like a good sideline, I should think Kent Count Council would pay us a fortune just at the minute, and we have a proven track record of success!

X-No-Archive:yes

There is more than an April Shower here in CT - heavy sequential downpours since midnight - we've received about 4-5" of water since then. Wind is gusting about 25 mph and the temp is 42 deg fahrenheit. I could launch a canoe in my back yard today - overnight a lake has formed. Definitely a crocheting, reading, puzzle game day today. Hugs, Joan

Oh my, that's a bit excessive. Perhaps it's a bit far to send some here, I hope it doesn't go on too long Love & higs Christine
