No, it was opened, and, even better, I went with my sister and her husband, whom I haven't seen for a couple of years. They also took me to Harrod's!

Oh Katherine now I am really jealous. Harrods is the place to go to. What did you bring home from there...?? Liberty materials used to be sold there. For a while we had a store in Toronto who carried the Liberty Materials line. (yard goods) Lovely stuff. Murray and Peggy also go to that special bookstore in London. Peggy told me that she could wander around for days there and not be bored.

Broom time again and this time lets meet in London, Fish and chips Harrods and the bookstore.

OH YES, give the fish an egg bath, then into the flour/cornmeal/seasoningsalt mixture, and then into the fryer. I do all the catching, cleaning, cooking, and eatting...LOL.

oh, and we can't forget the potato wedges, lettuce salad, and maybe even some Dorthy Lynch salad dressing for dipping the fish in. So if we are having a party, I'll furnish the eats, someone better bring some Jack Danels Whiskey, I'm a whiskey man, beer is for the marinating of the fish......LOL

That sounds wonderful! I only bought candy at Harrod's - what an expensive store! But I got some jeans and dress pants at Marks and Spencers, which was great since they have closed here.

Forget the salad dressing Bart, how about fresh lemon slices.....I recently had a fresh lemon from a friends hothouse lemon tree, was it ever good. So are the little Key limes as well. I press those out with my garlic press, in my cup of tea, just the right amount.

I am always so happy when a clothing item has a ridiculously high price tag on it. Makes it much easier to walk away from.....LOL
