i'm making a 5 hour baby sweater & am baffled at the following: K3 *K2tog* K4 K3 *K1,insert needle under next horizontal loop of row below (between stitches) and knit this st* K4 (47 stitches)
i'm starting the row with 34 stitches. the note at the beginning of the pattern reads:NOTE: keep 3 garter stitch border on front. Instructions appearing between *s are to be repeated across the row. ok, it sounds pretty basic, but there are 4 *s in that row. i get the start point being K3 *K2tog... then i'm confused. where do i do the pick up stitches? do i K1, do the pickup stitch, K4 & repeat? lee
