Pictures posted using Yahoo

Hey, did you folks notice that whatever Yahoo is doing disables the "Back" feature on your web browser when you link to a page on which someone has posted pictures? Very aggravating. Or is it just me?

Hi Kristen,

I hadn't noticed that, but will go and see what happens and let you know.

Hi, Kristen! Only happens to me using IE, doesn't happen with Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, Avant or Advanced browsers... JM2C, Noreen

Hi Kristen,

I just tried it and I had no problem getting back. I did have to close the album first.

Hugs,

I never use IE any more. My default browzer is Firefox, and it happens every time.

If that happens, try just hitting the down arrow right next to the back button and click on the page you want to go to. I do this because this problem happens a lot to me. I think it is something with the web site.

I have been using Firefox over a year and love it!!

That's helpful, thank you.

It never happened before the last month or so. I find it pretty creepy and disturbing, almost as obnoxious as pop-up ads.

I think it is Yahoo (and a few other sites), increasing the amount of time a person *has* to spend at their site, so that they can increase the amount of advertisement dollars they bring in to pay for the "free" services they offer. IOW, the services aren't really free.

Using the arrow on the "Back" button is a helpful workaround, but already that means that I can't just use the "Back" button on my mouse, which is the way I usually navigate back. Like I said, creepy and intrusive and disturbing.

Me too. Love love love it. Bye bye IE. Bye bye.

Yes, I think it's the websites too, because it happens to me *sometimes* but not on *all* websites.
