responding to or commenting on all the sporge. You are only feeding the trolls, you are providing them with just the type of entertainment they want. Here are a couple suggestions, remove all valid email address from any post. This includes reply to, and text version typed in the post. You are not dealing with bots which gather email addresses, you are dealing with people who can read, so munging the address doesn't work. Post though a news service which strips all headers, and uses only information from the posting IP address. Google does this, as does pay servers. My news server is now blocking all posts by the sporgers. Do not post any personal information which can be used to make it easier for the sporgers to fake post and make them believable. This is not a safe practice in any circumstance. You don't know who may be reading the post. DA

DA, I've been trying for days to do what you've suggested here. I can't find where Google will strip headers -- in fact, I've found the opposite, i.e., that they provide no access to do this (or perhaps they've hidden the instructions so deeply that I can't find them), and my attempts at doing this through OE haven't been very successful either. This post, in fact, may or may not go through as I'm giving OE one more try. I don't want to pay for a service just for cloaking. Eve

Eve, try posting from Google webside. Don't use Outlook Express, connect directly to the server (Google)

will show the post as originating from Google and not your ISP. Also, change the gmail address to something like @trashmail.I posted a list of free servers a while back, maybe you could try one of them or for a one time setup fee of $3.95 you can get an account with Teranews
