The yarn and needle requirements are posted on her site and at the forum. The pattern and target info are supposed to be emailed on the

Did any of you get a confirmation of joining? I didn't, and am not on the membership list. I am rather disgruntled and won't participate if I have to sign up again. All my attempts to log in have fail.

I never got a confirmation of joining the sock wars but I saw my name in the list of "soldiers" on her blog. Also, on the forum I never got a confirmation email to respond to but I emailed yarn monkey about that and she responded that she had fixed the problem and after that I could log in to the forum.
