Of course there are. Well, at least one. My thing right now is crocheting and knitting with singles off my new wheel. Lately I've been crocheting larger items and knitting socks.

I was at the Ontario Handspinners' Seminars vendors booths on Friday night in Kingston, Ontario, and spent a little more than my budget on fleece. I got a pound of beautiful dyed pencil roving in green/ yellow. I'd love to see that become a vest for me. Then I bought just over a kilo of pewter coloured roving for Christmas gifts. Not that I know what I'm making for Christmas gifts yet, but there it is ready to go.

Well I used to do it but sold my spinning wheel and drum carder earlier this year.

Alas my heart problems have got worse. I was rushed in hospital 3 times in February. It is 30 years next year since I started with heart problems and I have been fighting them but now they are winning and I am losing.

I have had to give up a lot of crafts, I have not got the stamina to do them. Just given away a lot of patchwork material. hugs. Shirley

Hi, Louise. I'm in Ohio, we have a few nice wool festivals. There's a lot of alpaca around here.

I've been spinning for 30 years, to feed my other habits that required yarn. :)

I have some long-stapled romney on the wheel, doing a fine tight 2-ply for warp on my inkle loom, and the backstrap. I have alpaca on the drop spindles.

I'm sorry to hear that. When my son was born I lost fine use of my hands, couldn't crochet or spin for about two years there, nearly killed me. :) I was able to knit, and that saved my sanity.
