This is the "top" of the week!

Now we have just one knitting lesson left! Most of the pupils have made one hat allready, and started at nr. 2 OR



3! One of the girls had mad a sweet hat for her little sister, and her grandmother crocheted flowers, which they "hanged down from the top". I love this cooperation!

Today they all knitted freneticly, and asked if I could help them with problems EVEN if the lessons were finished, and I reassured them that I would be there for them!



Last week one of my collegues had my lesson, and the pupils told her: OK, you are good on the two needle cast on (she is an experienced knitter!), but Aud do it MUCH faster!!! (LOL!)



Here you see some of them today, you have seen them earlier, but I think they are so sweet!! I hope this is the "Tomorrows Knit-Lover's":

Dear Aud,

having a teacher like you is a blessing for all life. You remind me of my arts teacher in junior high (I don't know if the equivalent is correct, the Swedish term is mellanstadiet, scuola media in Italian). We tried almost all kinds of painting techniques and he kept saying that nothing was impossible. I think of him when I feel down. He was and is an inspiration. You are teaching much more than knitting, dear Aud.

Here I want to thank you and all the great teachers I had in my life (I had also very bad ones, so I do know the difference).

LOL! I looked at these photos this morning before I left out and I agree, Gemini, VERY SERIOUS concentration from the two little guys at the top!

What a great bunch of students and I agree those two little boys are adorable the way they are concentrating on the knitting. Tell them they are better then I am, I can't use circular needles, maybe they better come over and give me a lesson.

Thank you for all the kind response! Yes, the pupils are very sweet, innocent and positive!

Yesterday one of them knocked the door to our lunchroom, and told the headmaster she HAD TO show Aud some knitting! She had finished a fingerless glove (just a simple garter square with a hole for the tumb ;-) Her face was a big smile, when I praised her work; and she said a bit shy: "I must say I think it worked out very nice, much better than I expected, and I am very satisfied with it!" Anna Maria, I am NOT a very special teacher, but I'm sure you see that one have to LOVE children like that! AUD ;-)
