Two Susans

Looks like we have to have more names than Susan. I usually sign as Susan Carey, but not wanting anyone to mix me with another Susan, think the other should also sign with last name or another nickname. I realize our email address are not at all alike, but do not wish to get mixed with another for messages and so on. And since there is also a Sue, hi Sue, I think we have to be extra careful.

This reminds me of the night when I was working 3-11 in the Intermediate Care Unit. We had 6 staff. 3 were Sue and 3 were Susan. Nothing like relearning to use last names.

Hugs, Susan (Carey)

Hi Susan, There surely are a lot of Susans out there! When I was in grade school (I will NOT say how many years ago that was) there were always 2 or 3 Susans in each classroom. Anyway - I can sign as Susan K - Does that work?

My email is from suzee and I always sign as sue in lowercase, so that should be easy enough. It's the people who address me as Sue or Susie that confuse things.

There's a Susan at work too, and many people don't differentiate the two names when requesting one of us. We use physical descriptions or places of origin (my clients know I moved here a couple years ago `from Montana or somewhere out West') to get the right one.

I was born a Susan, went by Sue in High School then changed to Susie about ten years ago. LOL. My middle initial is K too. Whew. Hi girls, Susie in northern NY

When I was the chairman of the board (sounds impressive, but it was just a lot of work) of my children's day care center, I was part of a search committee for a new teacher. Three members of the committee were named Anne. I told one of the candidates, after we had all introduced ourselves, "If you can't remember our names, just call all of us "Anne". You'll be right half the time."

Hi Susan, I know the feeling! There are a lot of us about :-) All through my school years, I was in classes with at least two other Sues or Susans. I figured the same might be true on usenet ( I typed that suenet at the first attempt LOL) so that's why I started putting my initial in my sig line some time ago.

Hi Susan Carey and Sue W.

You notice I always put that on the 6x6 list or I'd have a real mess on my hands.

Nora
