I am a bit remiss in my posting about recent visits
First - last Friday, Elizabeth (aka Dr. Brat) stopped on her way home from showing Cash - and showed off his new blue ribbon (how did he do on Saturday?) We had lunch and talked a lot. I showed her some new stash and walked in the garden. I think this was one of the few times I didn't send her home with new plants.
Second, on Sunday last, Bobbie V. and I drove down to Margaret's house for food and a gab fest. Gillian made it over too.... We took a quick tour the house and gardens (BTW - I need a picture of your pink flower weed) . And watched the red squirrel chase away the chipmunks. Bobbie brought her famous shortbread, I brought iced tea and Gillian brought a chocolate cake. We fondled each other's projects (not that we actually worked on them) and talked. Bobbie also shared spare fiber stash.
I still have a little shortbread left - it is so good! I'd rather have more time with my friends... C
