Hi Noreen:

Actually my 2 teenagers are so addicted to it and now my son has my 78 yr old mother getting into it as well. I bought them an entire book of it for Christmas and they sighed when they opened it. Sometimes Sudoku takes over when other things need or want to be done . Oh well atleast they are using their brains!

I was but found myself wasting way too much time on the puzzles. Now I just limit myself to the ones that appear in the daily paper and quit when I get stuck on a puzzle.

Hi

Yes I am hooked and have to admit that I had to hide a couple of my books of puzzles so that I would get other things done.

Yes addicted to Sudoku.. Still on easy and medium though. I even lay book on table beside me while knitting and the answers seem to come easy when you arent looking too hard for them. They are a lot of fun.. Only do them when knitting or watching TV..oh yes..even bought a little book for dash of car..when waiting for someone..keeps me busy and time isnt so long. :) Few years ago it was Cryptograms..and got over that craze after a few years ;)

Nope - just couldn't get into it. I have trouble enough getting things done, with the time I spend on the computer and my knitting! (laugh)

Oh yes! Even the mega ones. If I get a book of puzzles, I find myself staying up till all hours working on them. I've even erased ones I've already done so I can do them again.

Oh, jeez, yes! I'm keeping track of my times to see if I'm getting better. I'm able to limit myself to one a day.

No i found it annoying and boring , I LOVE white, empty puzzeles .. and on the KaKuru ,, which i find more intersting than the sudoku ....

Ps My son tells me Sudoko wasinvented by a Scandinavian mathematician , But it was Mercantalized by the Japanese ... Thes days i start to think that i enjoy curtaing an exhibition as a kind of Puzzel!!!! mirjam

Gee I was just checking messages before going to bed and have now done two puzzles from the link.

Time for bed.

My daughter feels the same way. But she says they are very difficult, and that serious aficionados don't do them without tables of equations at hand.

Yup. Compliments of a business trip to England last summer that went on long enough for me to play in the book shop at Harrods.

Shana.

Grab some graph paper or those great in gridded index cards. I copy the puzzle then put the book away.

Less tempted to cheat when I get stuck if the puzzle is separated from the book. :-) And my book doesn't get marked up and I can go back later and redo if I want.
