Hi Cher. I couldn't find a UK retailer listed at

but you can email either of the below(both?) for some help: snipped-for-privacy@buxtonbrook.com snipped-for-privacy@buxtonbrook.com You're handy so you might be able to make one: wooden picture frame, finishing nails. You can work diagonally with a continuous strand, warp then needle-weave.

Reply to the list as I do not publish an email address to USENET. This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%. Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account...

thnx Wooly It isn't for me but for one of the lady's at our guild, she seems to think they ought to be pretty firm but like you I think you could make one the same as you suggest, or even the same way as the knitting loom instructions give, that idea anyhow

They're easy as pie to make. If you start with a commercial photo frame be sure to get some flat L-brackets to reinforce the corners with, or the fram is likely to fold in half diagonally during weaving :)

I am pretty sure that Hazel, who lives out California way, sells these handy little looms. .I exchanged squares with Hazel and one of these was a very pretty one done on a little square loom.
