I'm a Knitting Guru Gee this one comment sure made me laugh "Packing for vacation involves leaving ample space for the stash and supplies." I do that because I always want to make sure that I have something to work on. Gee we go for a drive for a couple of hours in the car and I take my knitting or crocheting to work on. I must work on my projects. Glad that DH enjoys driving.

I think so!

Seems I am a knitting goddess. My son in law was once equated to a Greek god, but I have never been called a Goddess before. (No, you cannot have his address)

If my cousin in VA comes through... I could end up in that direction! Hugs, Noreen
No, Sonya, I'm not surprised that YOU are a goddess at all!! Hugs, Noreen
Well, Roger, her tiny disclaimer does say something about no offense to the guys, but it's geared towards the ladies. In any case, we'll say YOU are a Knitting god. Better? Hugs, Noreen
May 7 & 8, which is about as late as it ever gets, being "Always the first full weekend in May".
If you do a knit 2 together from the front of the stitch the top of the stitch leans to the right and the top of the stitch for SSK leans to the left. I know you knit so now go try it on something you're working on and you will see what I mean.
Try it for yourself and let me know if you see it the way I do?.

Well, I have to agree with Lucille. According to Vogue Knitting: k2tog (in the front loops) produces a right-slanting decrease and k2tog tbl (in the back loops), skp and ssp all produce left-slanting decreases.
Well, I seem to be a novice, and I expect that's as far as I will get! LOL
Knitting Guru, here!!!!

I hope so.....LOL I often ask for their blessings......LOL ' Els
Here's my result. Not a surprise, LOL, considering I am also commonly called a food snob:
You appear to be a Knitting Purist. You are an accomplished knitter producing beautiful pieces with a classic feel. You sometimes lament losing half of your local yarn shop to garish novelty yarns. Perhaps you consider fun fur scarves the bane of knitting society and prefer to steer new knitters towards the wool and cotton blends. Some might call you a bit of an elitist but you know that you've been doing this craft long enough to respect the history behind it and honor it with beautiful piece that can last a lifetime.
You appear to be a Knitting Adventurer.
You are through those knitting growing pains and feeling more adventurous. You can follow a standard pattern if it's not too complicated and know where to go to get help. Maybe you've started to experiment with different fibers and you might be eyeing a book with a cool technique you've never tried. Perhaps you prefer to stick to other people's patterns but you are trying to challenge yourself more. Regardless of your preference, you are continually trying to grow as a knitter, and as well you should since your non-knitting friends are probably dropping some serious hints, these days.
That sounds like me all right, although I *can* do complicated patterns, but I prefer to experiment, with fibers *and* patterns.

I too got Knitting Goddess?
I finally managed to get there and I am a Knitting Guru apparently :) I think it fits me really well. Thanks Noreen for posting this, it was fun.
