question

I have a woman who missed one of my auctions and now wants to know about any auctions I had that didn't sell, etc. that she might like to buy. Can I sell these items to her outside of having to relist them on eBay? I know the standard warning in eBay's messages about a buyer asking me to sell outside of the listing... but she wrote me about a specific auction that had already ended with a buyer.

As far as the other unsold auctions I had, I didn't want to relist them anyway. If people aren't smart enough to snatch up my beads the first time around, I'm keeping them! lol

Anyway, she's a newer buyer (300+ feedback) and told me she has never asked a seller to do this before and now we both don't know if we can do it. Does anyone in here know?

Thanks guys!

I would relist them in the cheapest insertion price you can and let her know you are doing it and that she can buy them that way. Otherwise, you are probably in violation of ebays rules and it was ebay that procured the buyer for you. Doing the right thing is usually the best way to go. Lois

Do you ever list on JustBeads.com? You can relist for free until the item sells. I quit doing much on da Bay b/c it typically took 5 relists to sell a small item, poof no profit!

Thanks, Lois. I relisted the auction just for her under BIN, so it all worked out in the end. Thanks for your reply and apologies for not getting back to you sooner. :)

Thanks, Karleen. :) I have thought of JustBeads... but to tell you the truth, most of the beads that I'm auctioning off are Vintage.

AND... after looking at the site, I'm afraid my little auctions would get lost in all of Bettina's vintage auctions. MAN, she's got a gazillion vintage auctions!
