I know that at least some of the group know I work in central London so I thought I should let everyone know I'm fine.

I over slept this morning so missed my usual train. The train I did get was stopped outside Kings Cross station and went back to the last station we'd gone through. It took me several hours and several changes of train (it usually takes 45 mins and is straight through) to get home from there but at least I'm alive to get home. If I'd been on my usual train I would have been very close to, if not actually in, Tavistock Square when the bomb went off there.

Hi Noreen,

Gemini might, but Katherine is still away I think. Also Liz, Martin, and we never know how many of the others might be on vacation in that area.

Hugs,

Hi Noreen, I haven't been to London in a long time, so I was safe at home, watching events on the TV. My heart goes out to those who have been directly affected by these horrific events. Thanks very much for your concern.

Hi Nora

I have been away from the computer for a few days as I was visiting my mother in the Midlands. I live about 15 miles from London. Only my brother was in London on Thursday and we heard from him very early on to say he was fine.

Thanks for your concern, it is nice to know that people are thinking of us! I'm glad to hear all our other UK members are well too.

Hugs

Liz
