Danger - Post it notes!

Just when you thought there was nothing left to scare you:

A friend at guild Monday night, who happens to be the project chair, said a member had brought her the blocks to be distributed for the BOM project. My friend put the woman's name and the block numbers on a pink Post-It note and stuck it on the top of the pile.

The pink rubbed off on the fabric. Now it may come right out in the wash, but we won't know for awhile. There was no moisture, it just came off.

I use Post-It notes to mark lots of quilty things. Guess I won't use any more florescent ones.

i think that is good reason to email the company about it. they may not realize the colour comes off in that useage. they might be able to fix the dye used on the paper and/or have a washing solution for you. they need to know about it at any rate. well i think they do anyhow. j.

I ditto that comment - no colour should come out - would hate to think what would happen to a typed or written presentation - it would ruin it.

Sorry that happened. Who would have thought it? I bet it will come out when washed. Maybe washing it sooner will be better than later.

May the Lord Bless You!

Aha! But what if they weren't "Post-It" brand? I mean, Post-It is kind of like kleenex now, isn't it? As in, I've got to buy kleenex today. I bought Puffs kleenex.
