I just read my Silver Needle newsletter and caught the mention at the end that Lisa Roswell of Primitive Needle was killed in the floods that swept Ohio Monday. Her talent will be greatly missed.

same thing happened to me last year, but I was fortunate enough tobe rescued. It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.I had been out of town for a week, and wasn't paying attention when Icame back. I got caught in a flood of our local river, and only barelywas pulled out before my car was swept away like poor Lisa's. Please, everyone, remember that floods are deceptive, and water over a roadway often is the SAME COLOR as the road, especially at night. Pay careful attention to flood warnings if you are in an area prone to them!
