OT: Looking for "songs of mood"

I am looking for a copy - tape, cd, or whatever for a musical piece for piano called Pisni Nastroiu (Songs of mood). It is possible that an artist by the name of Johann Kalanik may have recorded it with the London Philharmonic. I don't know where or when.

That's all I have to go on.

Could any of our musical gurus please help me out?

Did a "google" and found the composers name here

did a search on the composer Yakov Stepovoy and found his namementioned in recordings but couldn't find the particular music you require. Edna

Me again Fred, as it says The works of Oleksander Oles inspired a "cycle of songs" titled "Pisni Nastroiu" (Songs of Mood, 1907-1909) maybe they had different names. Such as "Songs of Mood .....Butterflies" (I made that up) and the London Phillharmonic recorded them not it.

Thanks Edna, That was as far as I got also. I'm going to try the radio station that I heard in on and see if they still have some info. The station had to get it from somewhere. Problem is I heard the piece quite a while ago so the station may not remember playing it. I'm not sure how long stations have to keep their logs.
