OT: super funny to me....

My brother called last night. His name is Mitch. Well long story short...Zen (3.2 yrs old) got on the phone to talk to him and I told her it was Uncle Mitch. She gets on and says "hi u kel *itch" I laughed so hard. Just replace the "M" with a "B" and that is what she says. DH heard different. He was sitting further away and heard her say "Son of a *itch" I told him no and what she did say.

This morning we asked her if she talked to Uncle Mitch last night and she said the same. I had to keep trying to stress the letter M to her.

This was too funny to keep to myself.

That is just hilarious! My kids called their Uncle... Guncle. We still call him Guncle from time to time. So, Uncle "M"itch better watch out. hahaha

Kids are so funny sometimes with their pronunciations! :-)

When my nephew was really young, both grandmothers wanted to be called 'granny'. He kept getting them mixed up, and finally he solved the problem by calling my mother 'Other Granny', LOL. She was Other Granny for him and his brother til the day she died. (When I tell my children about her, I call her "Grandma Bonnie", not sure where that came from).

I have another friend who used to play 'goo goo ga ga' with her first granddaughter Madison all the time--when Madison started talking, she started referring to her grandmother as "Gaga"! :-) No amount of cajoling would make her call her "Nana" or "Granny" or "Grandma" or "MeeMaw" or anything else--that was her Gaga, and that was *it*. ;-)

To this day she's still Gaga not only to Madison, but to her little sister Kylee and my Maya! :-)

Watch out though, my niece Tiffany use to say Ninny when anyone asked her what her name was when she was 2 and now almost 20 years later everyone still calls her Ninny.

My oldest granddaughter started calling me 'gripper' when she first started talking. We never knew where it came from.
