AD: Finally back in the studio/JB auctions

Wow - what a long stetch away from the day-to-day and from concentrated torch time. The last month has been travel (up to the Queen Charlotte Islands in far norther British Columbia and amazing!!!), lots of house guests and teaching other people how to make beads. And then there's been the effect of Mercury in retrograde snafu'ing a variety of things. This week I'm finally (knock on wood) back in the groove.

I seem to have a pink and purple thing going right now, so the two auctions are both in those colours.

At Loose Ends - pale pink wrapped with ink blue and drizzled with plum Do the Wave - a pink transparent hollow decorated with plum, accompanied by sold beads with the same colour scheme and some with pink on pink raised patterning.

Thanks as always for having a look.

Now off to find a replacement for the dryer that just died... entropy strikes again.

Thanks Barbara! It's good to be back. I have a feeling I'll be making some things that look quite different than anything I've done before once I get a chance to settle in again.

Susan, I saw those and was about to brag on those! I especially like the wave ones.

How far North did you get in BC?

Thanks Tina! We drove from Edmonton to Prince Rupert then took the ferry to Haida Gwaii/Queen Charlotte Islands. So we were within sight of Alaska ...

Love the Wave set, Susan!

Thanks Kandice! I feel like I should be doing autumn colours, but I can't quite force myself to go there quite yet - although I did make some dark topaz leaf beads today ...

I love the trip up the Frazier River to Dawson Creek. And the ferry trip sounds great (and no one has to watch the road).

One set is (thanks Marjean!!); "Doing the Wave" is still in play so to speak. And I'm halfway through being caught up with my laundry - love my new machine. I had to re-wash one load from the old machine - I can't believe how much soap was left in it. My skin is going to be happier with this new machine, I just know it.
