Bead recommendation for outdoors

If you have a Michaels or an AC Moore in your area, they have lots of strings of glass beads in larger sizes. I'm sure you can find some red beads which would be appropriate for your feeder.

I've gotten beads that just aren't what I want. And usually it's my our fault, lack of discernment, so I don't send them back. Pete hangs them in trees around the property, as well as some ornaments and even a few toys. (Dinosaurs in the trees! Eeeek!)

But for the bird feeder, I think I'd get some big acrylic faceted beads. Cheap, and light enough not to smack your window and break it, klonk you on the head and bruise you, etc.

If you're not worried about the beads baning on something/each other and shattering, have a lok at Czech pressed glass beads. They come in all sorts of shapes.
