Bead recommendation for outdoors

Need a recommendation please. I would like to replace the "red dangles" on my hummingbird feeder. They looked like red glass, but turned out to be clear something, with a red coating that peeled off. The size is that of a large pendant. Anyone have recommendations for replacements, including sources. I don't necessarily need pendants - round or faceted beads would be OK as long as the size is a minimum of 10mm. I called Fire Mountain, and they could not recommend a product! I appreciate your help. TIA on behalf of myself as well as the hummingbirds.

If you have a Michaels or an AC Moore in your area, they have lots of strings of glass beads in larger sizes. I'm sure you can find some red beads which would be appropriate for your feeder.

I've gotten beads that just aren't what I want. And usually it's my our fault, lack of discernment, so I don't send them back. Pete hangs them in trees around the property, as well as some ornaments and even a few toys. (Dinosaurs in the trees! Eeeek!)

But for the bird feeder, I think I'd get some big acrylic faceted beads. Cheap, and light enough not to smack your window and break it, klonk you on the head and bruise you, etc.

If you're not worried about the beads baning on something/each other and shattering, have a lok at Czech pressed glass beads. They come in all sorts of shapes.
