Calling out Kalera & Tink

LOL! I am going to honestly say that I don't know how we do it, either! The dishes are never done, and the floor is rarely swept or vaccuumed, the laundry gets done when it HAS to get done, and a lot of things around the house go untended. Sometimes playing Nintendo with a four-year-old really *is* a high priority! With older kids, gardening is easy; you just take them out there with you, they love to help. (AKA "help".) With kids under three, gardening is borderline impossible. (They really do put EVERYTHING in their mouths...)

We have talked about getting a housekeeping service to do the floors and dishes three times a week. The thing is, once you get to a certain point, you have to make money to pay the staff so you can have time to make money... I don't know how far I want to get into that lifestyle! We already pay a babysitter (my best friend, who is like an aunt to my kids) and Andrew. I want a simpler life. I want to mop my own floors. Keeping it simple is just... harder than it seems.

I am crossing my fingers and knocking on wood for you... you would be a very good investment for them, and I hope they can see it in your work.

LOL I was going to post something similar, but trashed it!! I've only been in business 14 & 1/2 years - imagine my place! Two kids - boy 10yrs and girl 9yrs... The time put into kids before age 10 is well worth it.. the housework can wait!!

Mavis, I'm glad there's HOPE! Thank you for the inspiration!

OK, well, I'm way behind on the NG, but it's sunny out, the baby is asleep, and the cherries are starting to bloom so it's time to prepare the garden for lettuce. I'm gonna go play in the dirt! I'll see y'all later!

Nintendo with a wee one (who is kicking your ass) is priceless! It feels somehow... luxurious. Endlessly rich.
