Cold winters day contemplation

I'm cold, I'm really cold. Have been all winter and our temperatures are no where near as cold as yours and Tina's.

Been having a hard time creating, my hands aren't working right. They're stiff and freezing. I can't tell you how many jump rings I've wasted today. But I can hold on to a charcoal pencil so I've been sketching my visions. I am so done with winter this year!

Sorry to hear your hands are bothering you Margie. That's one thing here - it's a dry cold, brrrrrrrrrrrr - so my hands are happier than in damper climes. I am really ready for winter to be over, but we have at least 2 + more months of it here.

Speaking of dry, Susan, be sure to drink enough water to head off dehydration. I keep having to remind myself of that.

Things won't start showing any green around here until some time in March. By the end of March the weather will be mostly decent. Until mid June, when it becomes so hot and humid that I can't stand that either.........

Oooooh, too freaking cold! Ick! I'm glad you can stay so creative in that kind of weather. :)

I highly recommend a paraffin hand bath for tight, stiff fingers. And by adding some scented (or not) oil, your hands will think they belong to a princess!

Susan -- thanks for sharing. I'm not creating, but actually thinking about it and may make some stuff before I leave, since I have completed my job with the doctor and will have some time. I haven't even thought about jewelry in a long time. It is nice just to have creative thoughts again.

Wonderful thoughts... Having just really gotten back to beading, I'm seeing again what a real joy it is. Even when the creativity is blocked, the potential is still there. And there's nothing like having a good idea work out well and having everything go smoothly. So therapeutic!
