Did I miss those PMC painted grapes?

Just curious how they turned out :) Was hoping the grapes didn't explode in the kiln...

I'm letting them dry out - will fire after my first ever show tonight and tomorrow. My dining room and living room have been transformed into a really nice looking gallery/boutique filled with bead and wire jewelry. I'm so excited, and so exhausted!! And I promise I'll report back on the grape experiment ;-).

Oh - take pictures of your setup so we can all see!

Good luck!

Oh good luck with your show! Hope it's lots of fun and that you sell everything :)

Good luck with your show!

Tina

Thanks - the first evening is over and I had fun, sold quite a bit more than I expected (including several higher ticket items) and caught up with friends as well as meeting some new interesting folks. All round a great time! And I do it all over again this evening, with my lovely neices as serving wenches. After some frustrating experiences with trying to sell my finished jewelry work in this town, I think I may have found something that works for me.

What media are you showing? Lampwork, wireknitting, silversmithing?

Tina

Hi Tina - had a mixture of things - lampwork and semi-precious gem bead jewelry, some knitted pieces, and some loose beads. The second night was almost as busy as the first. Over the two evenings I grossed just under $1000, which will be plowed back into the business - a better digital camera and some more wire! So I am very pleased, plus I had a great time having a party, getting to visit a bit, and generally having the chance to show off the new house. and I'm only slightly exhausted afterwards :-)
