Do people want porcupine quills?

I have a bunch of porcupine quills at home that I have held on to for quite some time. It appears I am not getting around to them any time soon. Does anyone know if they sell on e-Bay? Where would I look to see how much to sell them for?

Thanks,

- Sandy

I did a search on ebay for porcupine quills and they do have people selling them - and they do have bids! Denise R Glitzy Glass Studio

All I know is when my fav artist needed porcupine quills she had to drive around the countryside with a shovel and a box in her trunk looking for roadkill. Buying it on eBay HAS to be better than that.

And, yes, they are big in circles who work with restoration and Indian wear. They'll sell.

On the subject of porcupine quills, the first time I went to Santa Fe, New Mexico, I visited a small bead store. While I was looking around, the owner came out and said, "we still have to dye 3 more bushels of porcupine quills." I realized I was a long way from home and it felt wonderful! Patti

All I can imagine from that is a bunch of poor naked porcupines!!

I love porcupines. If I could figure out a way to have one as a pet, I would. My girlfriend once caught a young one in my dog kennel so that we could relocate it. Poor little thing, it was so cute and mild. That's not where I got the quills though.
