Finishing a Multi-Strand Bracelet

I've been poking around the net, and looking through the few books I own and the ones I got from the library, but I can't seem to find help with finishing a multi-strand bracelet. I have some three-hole separator bars, but I just don't know how to use them. What are my options? I don't necessarily expect someone to take the time to give me detailed instructions, but maybe if you could point me in the right direction? Now that I'm actively trying to figure this out, I can't even find a PICTURE of a multi-strand bracelet with a close enough view of the clasp to see what it looks like. Figures. All advice welcome and much appreciated!

If you do a little wire work, it's very easy. Make a looptie the ends to it, stick the end through a cone, and make a loop on the other side of the cone.

Or buy a bead end do-hicky. It's a cone with a metal loop. And you put a springy wire on the inside (after tying the strands to it). It's kind of like the spring of a safety pin. It'll push back open when it's in the cone and be unable to be pulled out, catching on the edge.
