Oh, thank you Marisa. I am so glad you found it useful. Please show off your freeform creation when you are done....I love seeing how others creativity comes out in them.

I would love to see it when done also.
I think I've said "thanks" to you before Beki, but in case I forgot, or just said it in my head and forgot to put it into words, THANKS! We used your tutorial in our bead club when I first learned free form. I really NEED to do another one soon. If anyone wants to see some of them I've done, look on my website under Gallery.
I'm having a serious try at freeform peyote. I've not been game to try it until now and wasn't even sure I liked it as a style. However, I wanted to give it a go as part of my bead education. Also I feel my colour sense has improved since I began hanging out on rcb. As a silversmith, I didn't use a lot of colour, only now do I feel more confident with it.
After I ripped out my first five starts and realised it's a challenge to achieve a good balance of colours and texture, the technique has me intrigued. Thank you to Beki of Whimbeads, the tutorial on your website has proven invaluable.
I'm making a wide cuff, weaving acrosss the shortest width, instead of the longest. Thinking about the flow of colours, achieving a rhythm while still retaining the spontaneous, seemingly random placement of beads and the negative as well as positive spaces. It's a lot like drawing. I'm working in amethyst (there's a surprise, not), bronze/metallic, metallic forest green, peridot, green iris. I have a gorgeous bronze metal button to use as a clasp. It's about half done now.
And it sounds as lovely as it is challenging, Marisa.
Oh Karleen.....I am loving Royalty Freefrom! I am partial to purple & green, but even so...yum!
Thanks! Beki
I had a look. All your stuff is glorious, Karleen.
Thanks so much!!!
It's all your fault Beki! LOL Hugs, Karleen
Cool! LOL I will take that fault and see you another. =o)
