Harry's "power"

thanks to Kathy NV everytime I see the word Paua I hear power with a Boston accent. Cracks me up! But since I've always pronounced it Poo'ah it's a good thing. Anyway, My husband bought me three of Harry's auction pieces... they arrived today (amazingly quickly!).... The colors are truly spectacular... it's almost mesmerizing to watch the colors play in the light. They're very uniform and feel good when you hold them in your hand... Anyway, not that he needs *my* recommendation, but he certainly has it. If you've been thinking of trying some, this is the place to "Power" UP! Thanks, Harry! It's wonderful stuff! Can't wait to play with it!!!! beth

ROFL! The correct pronunciation of the word Paua is par - wah, but almost everyone says pa - wah. So most people say it the same as power. lol Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my beautiful Paua Shells! It always feels good when I hear some one is happy with them and loves them as much as I do. To most it is a sea shell, but it is the most beautiful out of the

130 different species of Abalones. :) Your recomendation means a lot to me and I am so happy that you gave it. :) When the sun hits the shell it is truly amazing and I do love them so. Ramble Harry ramble... goodness sakes. Sighning off now. lol BTW your husband and you have GREAT taste! :))

The Maori people here have a word Puha (pronounced poo har), a plant similar to spinach.. I immediately thought of this on your pronunciation..

Last night when I went to bed, all I could think of was Paua! I have some nice jewellery made from it and thought I might take some photos and send them to you (have to be a nice day though - my digital doesn't flash and it's raining again!!)

< The power of Paua! lol When I go to bed each night it's all I can think about also. I would love to see what you have made... so I shall see what I can do about getting you some sunshine. :) I have talked with several people about the nasty weather you have been having there this year. They say it's always hot and all it has done is rain. I do hope you get some cooler temps and the rain stops for awhile at lease until it is needed.

They must live in Fiordland!! LOL

Of course it doesn't always rain.. Maybe they should move to the Bay of Plenty!! Just not this year.... LOL

Oh, & I didn't make them.. someone else did.. and I wouldn't dare take the credit!!
