Having a blast in Toledo! - OT

Kathy (KDK) arrived yesterday afternoon, and it's been non-stop fun, action, beads and laughter ever since!

The class I taught this morning went very, very well... There were no local folks in the class, which was amazing. They drove, on average, about two hours +/- to get there. And the class was only three hours long. I'm glad everyone felt it was more than worth the trip!

We stayed up last night until the sun came up, practically, got a couple of hours of sleep then headed to class. As I type this, Kathy is across the room playing with the torch and, I think, having a great time!

Tomorrow, we're going to the gallery where today's class was held to pick up our beads we made during class. Then over to the Museum to check out the glass study room (amazing glass works by the masters!). In the afternoon, my Potential New Studio Assistant is coming over to hang out and have dinner (I can NOT wait to meet her!!!). A fire in the pit tomorrow evening complete with toasted marshmallows will finish off the day.

More glass play tomorrow night, then some sleep for our grrl Kathy as she'll be leaving Thursday morning.

I've had the most wonderful time... I will hate to see her go. We had so many strange things in common that we were amazed. She's my sister in glass, without a doubt!

WE ARE THE FAIRY KILLERS!!!!!!!!!! And I will let HER tell you what THAT means. LOL!

Oh, I wish we could all have a big gathering. Wouldn't that be fun?

I hope you and Kathy along with possible studio assistant have a great time tonight.
