Hi!!!

Just a note to say how grateful I was for RCB "back in the day" and how sad it is to know that a wonderful woman is gone. Hugs to all who used to come here. I hope we can revive RCB and get to know each other all over again :) Hugs DeMarie needbeads.com

Hi Vicki. In my hand I have a piece of a package that has your address on. Alas for the life of me I cannot remember what was in the package. Getting old, VBG. We must have exchanged something but I do remember doing a beaded pen for a Vicki. Nice to see you here. Hugs

What is everyone making at present? I have just finished five bead embroid ery pendants. A large centre stone, and simple surrounding stitches. I am m eeting up with friends from 45 years ago.We are having time in Australia to gether. One is fron Christchurch and she really needs the break. In 1966 w e all travelled to UK from NZ by ship, which in those days was cheaper than flying. Six weeks at sea visiting Australia, Manilla, Singapore, HongKong , Naples,Egypt, going through the Suez Canal, Majorca and landing in a cold grey London.

I wish I could afford that trip now! Cheers, Jan

That sounds like a fantastic itinerie for your previous trip. I wish I could come to AU or NZ. I'm working on a beaded spirit doll, making polymer clay lentil beads and hand beads, and hand beads in ceramics this month. Also doing some bead embroidery around a pc face to make into a necklace. And I have a growing pile of beads, faces, and buttons in ceramics waiting for me to have a glazing week and do them all up. I'm enjoying ceramics, but the breakage rate is SO much higher than pc!! I'll get some pics next week to share.

Look forward to seeing the pics. I still keep fondling the hands you sent me. I actually spoke to Jan over Skype Video connection a short while ago.

good! I'm making them in ceramics now, and some of those I coat with PMC silver and refire. I love them! Gotta make more, and I have a pile of about 100 that I'm finishing up now.Only about a dozen are silver yet, gotta get more PMC and make it into slip. Its always something! Boy howdy, is metal and ceramic harder to drill into a bead than polymer clay! Only thing worse must be glass, and you torcher-ous types seem to put your holes in as you go. Sarajane
