It's just Harry with another question.

How many charms are there normally on a charm bacelet? I have a bunch of small piece I drilled today ( yee-Haww) and want to list them as charms and was wondering how many to put in a set. Thanks. One more thing.... I remeber soemone wanting rectangle'ish pieces with a hole on each end? Hmm... I think I may have listed something like those... not sure. (grining)

Ooooooooooooo, Harry! I would probably want some! I can picture a loaded up charm bracelet with some swarovski and stuff. I would think at least 10?

depends on their size, and how close together you want them.

get something [stick, string, ruler] about 6-8" long and see how many will fit in that space - not overlapping.

something to think about: how are they going to stand up to the stress of banging into each other if they overlap? or the stress of banging into desk tops, etc? charm bracelets usually take a lot of inadvertent abuse.

not sure about paua. I think it would be an experiment for someone? I hope I'm not liable for damages. :)

Ok I shall put them up in just a few minutes. :) After you get them you may change your mind and create something different?

They have been listed. I hope these are an ok size? I guess I should have asked that before also. Oh well... mistakes are made to learn from I guess.

Do you have a female friend who describes herself as "hard on jewelry"? Make one bracelet to test and give it to her to wear for a while. That's what I often do when I'm trying out a new construction technique. Being a friend, and

*knowing* that it's a test piece, is very different from selling something untried to a stranger.

VERY GOOD idea. i tend to test them on myself, since i am really hard on things like bracelets, but having someone else test them would give me more data to work with.

This sounds like an excellent idea, but I can't make one and don't have anything to make one out of. If it holds up I will be happy and if it doesn't I will send more shell to replace them and they can create something new. 100% Satisfaction... I stand behind it fully!. :)

Those look great! Someone here beat me to bidding on them! I hate to bid against someone I know!

I love the idea of listing some for charms - the more the better. Charm bracelets look wonderful to me when they are full and have tons of charms. You can't have too many. :) I really want to buy some small ones to put with tiny lampwork!

This is a good thing for me, as a lot of my Paua comes out in small pieces. It will take a lot of drilling, but it will be worth it. Also this will help me to improve on guessing hole sizes. Right now it's not a problem.. I only have one drill bit. LOL I wil be adding a lot more of the little piece when the tumbler decides to spit them out.

I would rather bid against a friend than a stranger... in the end at lease you know someone you love and care about got them. :) Ooohhh... ain't I a stinker. lol

Thank you. I look at it as an experiment and wouldn't want anyone to be disappointed if they broke and they had no beauitful Paua left.
