Jewel Tone Beads

I want to do something for fall with jewel tone beads. So far, I've only managed to find the colors I want at one place-Beadworks. Those happen to be foil lined. Any thought on foil lined beads? Ever had the inside rub off like some color lined? Anybody know of a good source I missed for jewel toned beads?

I really like the colors that Beadworks has, but I don't want to waste my time (and $) if the inside is just going to waste away.

OT: I'd just like to point one thing out (needlessly said) about mis-interpreting posts here: remember, the context in which you read a post is not necessarily the way it's meant. Inflection is impossible to judge in words. Case in point- while talking with my brother in an instant message, I was struck on how "nice" he seemed to be. Knowing him like I do, it's very weird. I just kept thinking to myself "if other people (from online) who don't know him personally, only knew what he was really like..."

(I had to catch up on some posts via Google. Seems OE wants to keep people in suspense by not posting all messages. Bleh.)

I have a pretty limited experience with foil lined - they were seed beads, and yes, the foil wore off when I used them, very quickly. :( But I have only used them once. Hopefully someone here has a better experience!

What exactly do you mean by jewel toned? And are you looking for seeds or larger beads? I think Czech firepolished comes in a huge variety of colors, some of which might be jewel toned.

My metal lined seed beads have had the metal wear off.

You can get some nice druks in jewel tones.

red (garnet), blue and green rectangles. Those colors. Rich colors. Iespecially like the blue and red. If they had purple, I'd be beside myself! Like a dolt that I can be sometimes, I did forget to mention size. Anything but seeds. Of course, I can always use more seeds, but I figured that they

*would* wear quickly. I just wasn't sure of bigger sized beads.
