Just Sharing

I wanted to share with you all a little beaded doll I made, along with an embossed and decorated box. My inspiration came from this woman.

If you are interested in making a beaded doll, I can highly recommend her book to you. It is self-published, chock full of great information and very personable.

Anywho...here is the first little doll and box I made that I gifted to Cindy as a Thank You

And here is my second one that I am keeping! ;o)

Thank you Su. I really wanted to gift Cindy with something that we show her how much I appreciated her inspiration to me. I thought of her the entire time I worked on that doll and her box. It makes me very happy that you were able to see that. =o)

I did Cheryl. Not sure what about the process I enjoyed the most, but I do know that I really enjoyed it a lot! I needed something to kick my creativity into gear!

Thanks for the kudos, babe!

Thanks Kathy! I just finished the Dragonfly Goddess last night while watching some Olympics. She doesn't have a name yet, tho....nothing seemed to come to me while I was beading. Anyway, here she is....

oh, one thing comes to mind. A while back I did some little fabric dolls, using stamps and fabric ink on their little fabric bodies. Then I inked up a big "Zana" dragonfly, and beaded it with weeeetle teeeeny beads...(wonder where I put that?)

It was very fun...if you see a big design (relatively, not huge, but something substantial) in a rubber stamp, you might give it a go!
