Hi Tina.
She was born on November 16...Greer Elizabeth Greenberg and you can see her here:
We're both doing very well. This second one sure was a faster recovery! I can't say the same about the aches and pains during the pregnancy though. I'm just glad that part is over. :)
Thanks for asking!

i have that problem, too. when we had a premie in the hospital nursery for a long stay, after she went home, her mother called and wanted to know why her baby wanted to stay awake and play all night. **sigh** otoh, at night when it was quiet was the only time anyone HAD time to give her the extra attention!

That's what happened with #1 son, too... Maybe THAT'S why he turned out the way he did-- sure that he is the reason for all others' existance.... He was put in ICN, but actually had no need to be there other than mama had spiked a fever while in labor, and they had him on "just in case" antibiotics for a day. The nurses didn't even want to release him so I could nurse him-- they kind of hovered around waiting for him to be done.... We were there 6 days.... Kaytee "Simplexities" on

Ha! Now would be a good time. Come on over. Although, you won't have to worry too much about waking her. She does that all by herself anyway! I do love holding her, in fact, we encourage her to be held as much as possible. I know some people don't believe in that.
I agree....I'm not sure it's a great idea to hold them while they are sleeping, because I do think that they probably need to stretch and relax....but, otherwise, I held my babies all the time. They survived...I survived. It's amazing what one can do with one hand. And I really don't wake a sleeping baby, but I'm not opposed to picking one up on the first cry!
