my sea fan necklace - a work in progress

I just thought I'd share what I have of my sea fan necklace with you guys... it's one of Cheryl's sea fans of course - so beautiful. I'm making this necklace for the "under the deep blue sea" project at WC.

Obviously it's not done... but I starting to be really excited about it. DH said it was very "big". Which is his way of saying it's gaudy and ugly, but that's his issue, not mine ;)

Pam,

I love how you show the phases of your work! I can't believe you brought all of those colors in, but it looks good! I usually don't like big jewelry or free-form stuff much, but I think this one is turning out quite elegant so far.

That is GORGEOUS, Pam. That kind of thing is the reason we beaders bead. WOW.

I'm glad you are enjoying it - I had to go out this morning for stuff and I just keep thinking about this piece and can't wait to get back to working on it! Unfortunately I have a yucky problem with a client website that I have to figure out and can't relax until I do - her store is broken since I moved her to a new server :( Oh well, back to it - the sooner it's done the sooner I can bead. (Plus I just got my big order from artbeads.com and I want to go through it and see my goodies... must be good, must be good)

Well he got the 'g' part right. Gorgeous, not gaudy. It's so great to see the process, thankyou for sharing.

Love this Pam! Wow - that's a lot of color. Just gorgeous! Ken and I wanted to go to the tulip festival ourselves this year, but there just wasn't/isn't time. We went last year, though, and it was beautiful and fun.
