Need some advice please

I am very new to using beads. I know about Ebay but was wondering if there is another store that anyone here would recommend. What I want to do is to make angel ornaments for Christmas. Here is a link:

I am also not sure of the sizes to use. I guess I really don't know anything at all and could use some help. I just fell in love with these little angels and want to make them for my annual Christmas ornament gift. Thanks so much! Chey

Hi Chey,

I've made those! They make cute Christmas earrings.

I got the beads for them from Halsey Trading, too. I just used some little GF or sterling beads for the heads.

Thanks for all of the help. Earrings are a bit smaller than I had in mind, but it's a great idea! I am confused as to what to call the 3 different beads that I need. I spent a few minutes tonight checking out Ebay, but can't find any of the "wing" beads and the others were called at least a couple of different names. So any help with that will be appreciated. Also, how do I know what size beads to get? I guess I really would like my angels to end up being at least 2-3 inches long. Thanks again!

Hi Chey...

Go to the following website and click on "Angels". There you will find a coin next to the angel to give you a reference point to size. Looking at beads on the internet is deceiving, so I hope this helps. I don't know of any way you would end up with 2-3" angels, though.

I knew I had seen them somewhere in the foggy past... :)

She has small (7.5mm), medium (10mm) and large (14mm) 'angel wings' in a variety of colors and finishes. I don't know about the 'finished' size though since it depends on the total of all the beads you use. I've order many times from this site with good results and never any problems.
