New Website

About a month ago, hubby and I purchased a domain to share, and I am finally getting my half of it going. I have the index page up now, and will be adding more pages as I get them done (hopefully one or two a day).

I would appreciate your thoughts on what I have done so far.

Please take a look and let me know what you think. Right now, the Jewelry, Dolls and Bags links DO NOT work, as I don't have the pages up yet (will be adding them soon). The Ebay Auctions Link also doesn't work yet, as I have not added it yet.

None of the links worked except for Sooz's list.

On the grammar front: it's "a lot" not "alot".

On the marketing side, I would keep away from the "I just recently..." phrase. Even if your things are perfect and excellent and fabu the "I just" phrase can wreak havoc. A potential customer might think " Why would I pay you? You're a new beader, you don't know how to use your sewing machine, etc. How can I expect top quality, long life for the things I buy? How good can they be if she's just recently started?"

I don't know that I would disparage myself on my page. Be positive, be excited, be confident. Your page doesn't give me that "warm fuzzy".

Design wise: I'm not crazy about the beads. They kinda look like Easter eggs and I don't think that they represent the span of products that you are going to be selling.
