OT: Another taper - ugh

It's time for my next big drop in my Prednisone dosage. Of course, the symptoms from my last drop started to subside yesterday, so it's gonna be a fun couple of days. My evil side of my personality is already starting to appear, and I never did make it to sleep last night.

We went to my mother's home for her family holiday celebration (she won't be here for Thanksgiving or Christmas), and had a really good time. I was shocked and dismayed that my eleven year old niece is taller than I am.

We all pigged out, and I was dead tired afterward. Unfortunately, dead tired didn't mean able to sleep, and I stayed up watching cheesy movies. I tried to bead, but everything looked so ugly. You know how no matter what you put together, it looks icky? That was my beadwork last night.

Sophie the Wonder Dog isn't feeling well, either. We're taking a trip to the vet on Monday morning. She seems to have an ear infection, and it's sapped the strength right out of her. Of course, it was hard to tell, since she sleeps 22 hours a day anyway. For tonight, we gave her a baby aspirin and some cheese and she perked right up.

DD and I studied together for her science test. I made up filthy acronyms for all the chemical processes she needed to remember for the test. They might be filthy, but they aren't easy to forget, and she'll do fine on the test. Even better, now she understands the science behind the chemistry.

Tonight, I think I'll watch tv with the family and eat chocolate products. I still have some German chocolate I bought overseas, and it's not long for this world.

I'll be back later on. Have a great evening.

Sounds like a good option to me... Hang in there....

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....chocolate. Chocolate is good. Cheesy movies are good. Filthy acronyms are good too, very helpful.

You have emminently (M&M-ly?) good ideas, Kathy. Sarajane
