It does not seem that long since we celebrated our Golden wedding, but today we are now celebrating our 51st anniversary. It will be very low key as it is raining very heavily here today.
I added a better picture of the tassel to my website. Will put some pictures up of my work room after having the clear out.

We will be celebrating it later as a family get together. Youngest son also celebrates their 23rd anniversary on the 27th of this month, so will be a double celebration. Shirley

My mom and dad celebrated their 50th a week ago - they went "low key" - they wanted no expensive party, no expensive gifts, etc. I did manage to surprise them with some cute balloons, and a cake, and got the boys and their girlfriends to all go out to dinner with them to Olive Garden. they were perfectly happy and satisfied with that as an anniversary.... they are not "party" people... LOL
