It went well! (need I say more?) We've been cooperating with everyone involved (much to their utter dismay!) and everything seems to be working out. The judge "was not amused" to say the least (think she's had a rough day - got to sit in on a few of the cases before us - ugh!) so by her recommendation we are going to be under close supervision (she seems to think the children are in a high-risk situation) No big deal. We are doing everything we're supposed to (starting parenting classes later this month - interview on monday), CASA has recommended a psych eval for DH and me (no problem there), Ron's back with mental health (another no biggee), following guidelines and suggestions. The usual. All of the people working with and for us agree we're doing everything we can to resolve this. In all, a good thing! Thanks to everyone that was rooting for us! You done good! And positive vibes can now bounce off me to go on to the next person that needs them (I will admit to being selfish and keeping a few!) (Can't hurt, right?)

Another positive thing - been looking to replace the kids' mattresses (when we wear something out, it IS worn out) and called on a couple of free (the best price) ones in the paper and picked them up yesterday. Tempted to kick the boy's out of their beds and sleep on their (new to us) beds (can you say comfy?) Life is good (for now)
