Other GOOD news

Okay -- I haven't been able to tell you this because

1) I was in Las Vegas without a computer.
2) I've been watching and waiting to really KNOW what to say.

My pain has been reduced to a MANAGEABLE LEVEL. YES! It has!!!

Which means I'm able to do the things I MUST do -- not everything. This is heavenly news!! I am still in constant body-wide pain, but it's no longer at the level where I have to stay in bed, in the dark, no reading, no TV, nothing. I'm not running any marathons, and I'm not doing housework. These things are way off-limits still.

But......I lived through Las Vegas! Kevin had hand surgery as soon as we got back home, and I am able to drive him to work in the morning (around 10 a.m.)!!! Etc.!! We got home late Monday, I slept all day Tuesday, he had surgery Wednesday, and Thursday he needed tons of help (still does, but we're figuring it out now). I am SO GRATEFUL for the meds adjustments that made me able to function at a higher level, because I don't know what we would've done otherwise.

I'm so HAPPY. Oh, and please see the above schedule to explain why the BFNR is

*still* not completely opened. It's been insane here. ~~ Sooz

Thank you, God. I know that I haven't lived with nonstop pain for anywhere near as long as you have, but the blessing of manageable pain feels like its changed my whole view of the world.

Marathons? Housework? I'd just be happy to take a shower without having to sleep of the pain afterward. Sooz, I hope that your pain continues to recede and that someday soon, you realize you aren't in any pain at all.

I can't type any more because I'm crying for you. This is so wonderful it's beyond words.

WHOOOOOOOOO!!! Yay Sooz! I'm really pleased for you!

Great news! I hope you stay this way or better. JanG

That's really good news, Sooz! Now let's keep it there!

I'm really happy for you. Cheri (Bubbee to Emily and Nathan)

I feel blessed too, just knowing that both of you feel so much better.

Thank you, God. Cheri (Bubbee to Emily and Nathan)

Thank the Goddess! That is the best news I've heard in ages. Tears of happiness for you, Sooz, darling.

Yes! There is a goddess! I know how much it must mean to you to have some physical capabilities back and be able to help your man. I love so this!

THANK THE GODS, Sooz. Thank the gods.

I'm being REALLY REALLY CAREFUL. Next, I will be able (at last!) to go to FMS support group, and yoga. I haven't been able to do stuff, not even to feel better. Now I CAN. ~~ Sooz

Since I have about an hour's worth of things I want to say about this, I'll keep it simple.

We couldn't be happier for you, Sooz.

~Candace~ your local hemp goddess :)

Sooz,

That is some of the best news I've heard all week! Congratulations.

Hey Sooz, as soon as I'm done cleaning my house from top to bottom, getting rid of all my extra junk, getting the yard in shape and painting the kitchen....I'll come help with yours, deal? And then I'll move on to Kathy N-V's. It's the least I can do. ;-)

Sounds WONDERFUL to me.

I could send you home with your weight in beads, no lie.

Can I help? I find house cleaning therapeutic. Well, most of the time.

Not necessary, Margie & Jalynne. I have housekeepers -- a married couple from Brazil who move mountains. I need to go through my crap, of course, and give a ton away, but.....no one can do that but me.

But! You can come, bring PJs, and hang out. ~~ Sooz
