I'm sending hugs your way. I hope everything goes smoothly and they recover quickly.

Cleaning is good and/or any other mindless work you can think of that will keep you busy.

Cheryl , My hugs and prayers go out to you and your family. Your plate is full. I understand your worries, my daughter had open heart surgery when she was born. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Please keep us all updated, Hugs, Louise

Keeping good thoughts for your DD and DS, too. (I knew your DS hurt himself, but DD is ill, too? I must have missed something somewhere.)

Adding good thoughts for your DDad, as well as you DMom. Hope their AC is working, so everyone will be comfortable. Nothing worse than trying to heal up and being uncomfortable and drained by the heat.

I do hope that all goes well, I'm sure that it's worse for the relatives than it is for patient. I'm off to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at the weekend to have my nose "sorted out" by the ENT surgeon on Monday. Definitely no need for AC hereabouts, even as far south as Aberdeen!

I looked at this quickly and had a moment of hyperventilating for you. DD is daughter, DF is father...

Still.

I hope all went well for both your father and son.

I'm recommending a huge amount of Calgon-take-me-away time!

Cheryl -

Glad you're out from behind the worst of it -- the worry and anticipation. Healing thoughts to both DF and DS, and hope you can now relax!

Sure I can relax, I have a son that isn't quite up to making it to the bathroom and is trying to make up the lack of hydration... And the meds seem to make him thirsty.... And one of us is supposed to check him every four hours all night..
