Well... after one hell of a month of bronchitis and pleurisy and now a very weak 19 lbs lighter I thought I should try to catch up and check in.
The absolute worse thing about being sick this time was taking antibiotics that made me so sick I just wanted to take a last breath and fade into the earth every hour of the day. I will NEVER ever ever take anything in the quinilones family of antobiotics again. Everything is pretty much cleared up now other than a lot of lingering pain from the pleurisy and absolutely horrible weakness. Since my breathing is fine I really think the weakness is a lingering effect of the Avelox (ab).
Kids are fine... Zach has crossed that line from adorable toddler to monster child but still smiles sweetly when he is destroying!!! :) Austin will *finally* be getting to work with a speech therapist after the holidays. I've been having him tested and trying to get help since he was 3 yrs old but between 'lost' files and hurricanes the stars are just now lining up for something to happen.
I am sorry for missed happenings, birthdays, milestones etc. My love and good thoughts and best wishes to all of you especially at this time of the year. The holidays can be joyful and full of love but we all know they can be difficult for many as well. So I just pray for the best that can be for all of us at this time. Love someone a little extra today... including yourself.
