So I get an email from my sis today - some usual chit chat then she asked if my brother ever called. Um no. She also made a brief mention that they (my brother) and his family would definitely be able to use their part of the estate. My brother has rheumatoid arthritis so my immediate thought was that he's having health problems again.
So I called my sis - first news - my oldest niece is getting married in 2 weeks. Next news - my younger niece is having a baby in January (she's been married for about a year now. Then the big crazy news - my brother and sil are expecting too- due in March!
We think it's hysterically funny that my bro's grandchild will be OLDER than his youngest child! And we commented that he beat my Mom's age span among children (oldest brother is 16 years older than my sister).
At least it was all happy news!
