OT: DH's bad news - knee surgery

Well I knew he would probably need surgery, I just didn't imagine how intense a surgery he needs. They think he has torn a ligament. He goes for his MRI on Monday, but with the pain, etc. the doctor is positive. They are going to have to lay the knee open and do all kinds of work, including moving and breaking bones. :-(

When it rains it pours. He has had to have oral surgery a few weeks ago, needs braces, and now this. His dang knee brace wasn't covered on insurance because we haven't met the deductible and it was $352. Thank God the MRI is covered. Every since we had this new insurance it's been an eye opener. We are paying a lot more now than ever before. :-(

Well it's a weird thing. We have two hunting dogs along with Trinkett and Pyro. Tolak our German Shorthair is very energetic and was running around outside. He bumped into Dan around his right knee area. I found him outside on the ground in pain.

Dan dislocated his knee when he was 12 and had to have major surgery. Then he did it again at 18ish. That time they only had to scope the knee. With the ligament being torn it's a whole other story.
