The bad news: my car is sick. Really sick. It won't start at all, and we're waiting for a part to arrive so it can be fixed. In the meantime, I'm mostly housebound. And that leads me to the good news! I finished hand quilting, binding and labeling my Teatime quilt! :D It's all bluework blocks, from a pattern I was given as a thank-you. Since I love blue and tea, you can imagine that I really like this quilt. :) If you'd like to see it, scroll right to the bottom of .
Good news and bad news (not OT)
That is very sweet, Sandy. Hope the new part fixes your car right up. I finally bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago and traded in my old car before it started costing me more than it was worth. My mechanic blanched when I asked him seriously if I could get another 9 years out of it. I took that to mean probably not.

Maybe it meant he probably couldn't get a European vacation out of the next
9 years of repairs. ;-)I'm with Ms. Ragmop. Whad'ja get? How much fabric does it hold? When's the road trip?
Well, Kathy, I got a PT Cruiser. Always loved the way they look, and then the other day in the Car Guys column in the paper they lumped it in with 9 other cars on their list for the ugliest car contest. I mean really, some people just have NO taste! LOL As for how much fabric it will hold, probably a lot more than my wallet will allow for. Although there's plenty of room if my passengers want to buy mega yardage.
